- Started a PhD in computer science at the University of Cambridge at the age of 20
- MEng from Imperial College London with first-class honours
- Co-founded various startups: leadfindr, plumpl, nomusicvideos
- Created a website that attracted over 70k visitors in only two days
- Wrote a bestselling book Java 8 in Action: Lambdas, streams and functional-style programming
- Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts
- Raised over £4000 for charity during sports challenges
